Disc vs. Xbox Live Download
I just recently got Jade Empire again in the original Xbox disc. On my LCD tv it comes up in 4:3 format. Does the download of this game or any other Xbox Original game come enhanced for 16:9 TV's?

Yes, but somehow they still manage to look like crap. I game on a 52" plasma and I notice no difference other than the aspect ratio.

Re: Disc vs. Xbox Live Download
Thanks for the input. I am gaming on a 47" LCD and Jade looks ok, but it would be awesome if it ran widescreen. I was sure that it did on the original xbox when I was gaming on a 30" tube HD widescreen. I guess that answers my question as to save the money and buy the fable disc rather than the download.

Oh yeah, I highly recommend the disc over download on all of them. For me, there is no reason to download them when I can get them cheaper without the use of space on my HDD.

I found the platinum edition of Fable: The Lost Chapters at Fry's for $10, $5 less than what MS wants for it on live.

Does anyone know if the Monk in the Limited Edition of Jade Empire is availible on the XBL download?
You'd be suprised at how many Halo fans don't know that the Master Chief is a slave.

Re: Disc vs. Xbox Live Download
I lost my original copy and I bought it again as a download.  I have a 120 hard drive but the reason I got it again as a download is because of the convienece of not having to put in or take out a disk for the game.  It may seem lazy but I relish in the fact I can play at any time in about 5 seconds and never loose my copy again.

I dont know about Sands of Time but the download for Jade Empire has the same cutscene/voice over glitches in the same areas as the disk version when played on the 360.

Re: Disc vs. Xbox Live Download
I never should have downloaded it. I got to the part of the game where you go to the caves to fight the mother and it will not load. The load bar freezes and will not advance should have just picked up the limited edition off amazon or something. It won't work and I can't get a refund. What a joke....
