Is there any site or link to tell newbies which char is good at what?
Like eg who is easy to use, who is hard to use, longer range, better close ups and better boss modes?
I got a rough idea but want to be sure before I decide to pick a favourite character I guess. Lol.

And Cuilan is a guy? Man almost fell for that trap.

I recommend you start out with either Mika B or Changpo A/B. I believe those are the easiest to use and are pretty good all around.

Characters that are hard to use would be Fabian, Ernula, Karel, and Lili.

Sakurako and Cuilan are somewhere in between.

Ernula and Mika B have the best BOSS modes.

Karel does the most damage per shot.

Also, I love Cuilan. He's sooo cute.

Uhm sorry for another noob question. How do I select their different verisons?

And isn't it wrong for Cuilan to look like he is wearing something like a skirt? Lol.

Press "A" on the character you want, then press up or down to switch between their A and B cartridges (A cartridge is the default), then once you have the cartridge and costume (press left and right to change costumes) that you want press "A" again.

I think it makes him look hotter/cuter. If that's wrong, I don't want to be right.

Lol I guess I should read the manual or look at options before jumping straight into the game.

The costumes don't do anything right to add to an advantage right?

The costumes do not affect gameplay, but the cartridges do.

Culian was the hardest story mode for me to go through due to the final boss.  I just YESTERDAY beat that boss and got the achievement and i've had the game forever. 

woah woah, i didn't pay attention to Culian's story since i was just happy to beat the boss, but it's a guy???? WTF? lol.
