Same here, saw the game today and impulse bought it, as a few of my friends rave about the TW games. Well no server means i return this game tomorrow, and will not buy another TW title. It was the same with Nascar 08.. i returned the title and will not be buying any of the others.
I'm disappointed in MS. They should take note of the fact that many EA titles are not supported for very long and make them either have purely SP achievements, or force them to update the achievements with new ones once they remove the online part of the game.
