Hiya guys. I have played this title online, but I have never seen the option to choose the next race location. Winning or losing, I always have these three options: Rankings, Replay and Exit Event. Am I missing something here? Does anyone have any advice? Any feedback welcome :)

I haven't played this game in a while, and I haven't played it online in even longer, but I do remember winning a race and choosing the next location.  I'm wondering if it has something to do with how many people are online?  Meaning, if there's not that many people racing online, maybe you no longer get to pick?  Good question, though, and I hope someone has a better answer than me!

podj35 I think you might have a good point there. The number of players may have an influence on the availability of the "Winner Choice" option. As I seem struggle to get people online to play against, the races I do are 2 players at most. Like you said, maybe the people who had this "Winners choice" option available to them had more than 2 players in the lobby. Oh well.

I dont know the achievement but whats not to understand here?
1) win a race
2) as winner you choose which track to race next, aka "winners choice"
3) repeat 3 times.

FYI - The new game is released next month so it may get difficult to find online players. Not only that, but if your new, you may be racing against guys who've played this for 2 years.

Yes J0hnny, one might think it is that obvious, but please understand that some players (myself included) don't have this option after we have raced. The only mutual point that I can see here is that most races that I have competed in online were two players at max as there are not alot of guys playing this title anymore. Thus, one is lead to believe that in order for this option to be made available to the winner there has to be more than two players competing (i.e > 3).

I really believe that's why the "choose" option doesn't show up - just not enough people online!

If you suck, you can sandbag it and you and a friend can run your own race and he'll let you win 3 in a row and vice versa for him if he needs the achievement.  I think I got this achievement within the first week of getting the game back in February 2008......those were the days...
