and i agree, the cheesey computer ones sucked.

the ones for GBA are ok, the ones that only have Zero and not really MegaMan.

but the X series really is awesome and I love X1-3 for SNES. I remember the ending for MM6 talking about Zero :).

the series really flow nicely into each other, but it's still cool that they can make a new original series MM game.

just think Castlevania franchise :) always a new game, never tears up the old timeline.

Agreed!! They should remae Mega Man X 1-3 with updated graphics ala Bionic Commando.

Easily my favorite games in the series, and I've fought my battles with the originals on NES.

I think they should make a new one for the X series, but with the difficulty of the originals. I always thought the X series was the coolest, but they were a lot easier.

it was intentionally made that way.  it's like a throwback to good times.  a lot of those older games that have come out with "enhanced" versions, are really crappy anyway.

I found both Mega Man collections for GC this weekend at Gamestop. They were just $8 a piece. I'm sure you can still find them there, or on Amazon.com.

X3 was one of the best as it brought out the addition of Zero as a playable charactor but made him, more like a tool to use when you needed, but limited him to one usage per stage and if you died with him then he is gone for good.
