I underestimated the Tonfas. Wow! What a powerful weapon. Seems like one or two hits and limbs and heads are exploding like melons. I love this weapon now more than ever before. Took me some time to get used to it, but now that I am, I'm using it as much as the Blade of the Archfiend.

The Tonfas are by far the most brutal weapon in the game. On any level of difficulty, They will decimate multiple fiends in only a few hits. These take patience and time to perfect but once done will carry you through the game with ease.

I don't like em. Granted they have an awesome UT and that's about the only thing I use em for; if I can string UTs.(like the courtyard fight with the red waterdemons in Ch.5)
But for regular (group) fighting I'd rather use a toothpick.

All down to taste and preference off course.
