Introduction:
Amped 3 is a fairly new Xbox 360 game that puts you in the spotlight of your own customizable snowboarder, as you carve down the mountains completing the story, unlocking achievements, upgrading your character, doing crazy stunts and tricks, and completing media call-outs and challenges as you go along. Very fun game to play, odd but great story.
Characters:
J-Dawg – The cool looking, aspiring professional snowboarder. Enjoys singing in his own boy-band.
Hunter – The “hottie” as everyone likes to call her. She enjoys doing crazy tricks, and is always looking for a thrill.
Sebastian – A “religious” snowboarder, he talks to you about these crazy mythological creatures that somehow allow you to snowboard a lot better. Don’t ask..
Weiner Boy – Odd enough name right? He’s a “kung fu apprentice” and frequently goes off on his mind adventures to Weiner Land where you, the awesome, decked out, snowboarder has to do a run through it…
Story:
You start out at NorthStar, one of the many mountain trails in the game. It’s Easter weekend, (Hence, the bunny suit in the beginning), and you and your buddies have been saving up your pennies to go on a trip to the very exotic country of Chile, where the five of you will snowboard all year long, or until you run out of money. Sounds fun right? Just wait until you finish Act 1…

Challenges/Media Callouts:
In Amped 3, you must participate in many different snowboarding challenges and Media Callouts. They can increase your amount of money, and respect. They are also the only way to continue on with the story. The types of challenges are…

In each, you must get a high score, BEAT a high score, snowboard/ grind through circles, sled down the mountain, fling your opponent/ partner on a sled, etc.

Well, there is no Mushroom Kingdom. It’s a joke..
