Just to let all you people know, all the news about BF3 currently are RUMORS. Nothing at all has been comfirmed about BF3 by Lucasarts. Even FR losing the rights to BF3 is a rumor. I heard that BF3's multiplayer was in bad shape and was unsalvagable in one article. And in a different one, I heard the multiplayer was fine. Remember that rumor that the ex FR employee made about the ground to space engine being lost and that the engine would be replaced by a cutscene? Well it seems as if the rumor is false, because Elite Squadron has the same engine that FR supposedly didn't pass to Lucasarts. And that rumor about it going to Pandemic is questionable. I don't see EA letting Pandemic structure a game for a rival publisher (TOR is different since Bioware was working on it before EA bought them.) Who knows? Just speaking positively, maybe Crytek got the project after they bought FR. Heck, that "leaked" footage may not be leaked as we may think. Call me crazy, but I think LA could be behind all these rumors just to get more hype for the game. If so, then we might be suckers of viral marketing.

If I'm wrong, then I pray to god that it comes out and that the new unknown developer can finish this project with success. I highly doubt LA would let all this content get scrapped anyway, because then the money and time spent for two years would be wasted, LA would have to spend even more money for an entirely new project deal, and it wouldn't be good for LA's budget, especially if they don't release it. Patience is all we have right now. It might be released (or at least confirmed) this year or sometime next year, but don't encourage LA to rush the game if you want it to be good. Just look at what happen to KOTOR 2 when LA rushed Obsidian.

So anyway is there really going to be a BF3? kinda tired of waiting,are they going to wait for the next gen consoles to come out before it's released on 360.I always thought it was supposed to be the greatest Star Wars game series released besides KOTOR and they have not released it so for me I guess until there's a trailer it will just be a Unicorn.
