My 360 froze twice while playing this game.Is this something that happens with this game often or is my xbox dying ?I haven't tried playing another game yet so i dont know if its the game or the 360.

It's not unusual (at least for me and my <1 year old console) for the game to lockup during the Loading of a match. Well, it used to be not unusual. Since installing the game to my HD, it's rare the game locks up at any time.

I ran into the same problem. Once I installed the game to the hard drive, it never happened again.

Ya when it freezes its when a match is loading up.Ill try installing it thanks.

Try installing the game to the hard drive. What this does is plays an installed game from the hard drive (obviously). This should eliminate any problems associated with the disc. it will also reduce loading times, and make your system a little bit quieter. only problem with it is that you still need the game disc in the drive to play.

Yeah it pretty much eliminated the freezing problem for me. At first my game used to freeze about once every day but now it hardly ever freezes

I got UT3 yesterday and I've played it lots so far, but just now it froze in mid battle.
I have the game installed to my HDD so I'm not sure what the problem could be.

I got the Red Elite xbox so normally it's really good at keeping cool but its been really hot here lately and I think that could be causing it.

I guess the main thing I'm wondering is should I just reset and keep playing or try to not play xbox when its hot?
Does freezing mean damage is being caused to my xbox?

I'm really nervous about stuff like this because I've already bought 2 xbox's and I AM NOT buying another even though if this one dies I will have tons of useless gear with low resell value.

P.S. Temperatures here are around 36degrees celcius in the middle of the day.

This may be relivant to your issue, may not. I incure freezes when trying to access certain matches. Once I reboot and try another match it's fine. If I reboot and try that specific match again it freezes. My issue has been syncing with specific people hosting on specific maps.

This has been a VERY RARE occasion over the past 12 months.  PEACE

Oh wow! Yes, my old 360 would always freeze when playing this game. If your Xbox 360 is freezing when playing this game, it means (sad to say) that it's down the road of having major issues.

My old 360 would just freeze when playing this game, then other games, then everywhere! A lot of stuff I downloaded would not boot up.. it was terrible.
