I'm looking to get hold of a copy of OXM's issue 91 demo disc and was wondering whether or not the disc will work in my Australian PAL 360.

It's my understanding that the discs themselves are not merely DVDs but 360-specific DVDs and such could well be region free, the problem is that even after a good hours googling I kind seem to find a straight answer anywhere, just others expressing similar concerns, taking the dive and not reporting back their findings.

All I really want from the disc itself are the ToV gamerpics, so if I doesn't work I suppose plan B would be to find a NTSC 360, plug in my HDD and the disc, unlock the gamerpics and switch back, but I'd really rather not have to resort to such measures.

No, OXM US discs are region locked. After examining the disc I found the NTSC marking to the right of the Dolby Digital logo. OXM UK is probably PAL seeing as it's made across the pond; you could see if one of their discs have the pics you want.
