GOt this game a few months ago but didn;t really get a chance to play. Always meant to... anyway just started again and realized part of what kept me form getting into it before. The combat is pretty awkward. I am getting the hang of it and like the challenge, but am having ttrouble with blocking. I just can't figure out when the enemy actually attaks and when I am supposed to block. I have tried just ebfore the animation starts or just before the damage or being hit... When is the block window and how do I recognize it? I am seriously tired of being pummeled by stupid robots while I fumble with bandages and armor pots. DOn't want to give up on the game, but pretty close to doing it.

Seeing how this post is already two weeks old, you may have figured it out by now, but since it's still your most recent game I could try helping out. If it's anything like the second game, you'll need to block right before you get hit. There might also be an animation inside the health bar telling you to block, but this was never very visible for me on my tv. Neither was any other small text in the game, but I still enjoyed it.
