Is this game as broken as the IGN review implies?
I played the demo of this game and I thought it seemed really cool... While the gameplay didn't awe me, it definitely seemed playable and at least mildly fun, and the story and presentation were really great for something pragmatically based too (I'm kind of a fantasy lover, despite being 20).

However some of the flaws pointed out within the IGN review turned me off a bit even more so regarding the gameplay than I already was... I did notice and didn't like the cover system too much when I played the game, (having it automatically initiate even when you aren't that close to any wall/surface/whatever) but learning that this poorly executed cover system doesn't even work as a cover system at all within the full game made things so much worse... I also didn't like the mention of a stealth stage, when there's actually no means of stealth play either, (this I was more skeptical about though, as I know IGN can embellish things a lot when they actually find ANY fault) but anyway I'm asking you guys who've played more casually to know if these issues are actually valid.

I don't care about this thing, so why should you?

I bought it then traded it in a week later...Solo campaign was horrible, but the Multiplayer I thought was really cool.  Rent it before you buy it!

Well it can be bought for about the same price to rent it now... That's another reason I feel like I SHOULD get it.

The graphics suck and look like PS2

The aiming is atrocious, and it's just stupid slow

The one plus is how often they drop the F bomb

This game sucks so hard by yourself. Seriously...get a friend, or a brother (Like I did), sit down one day your bored as hell and play this mess of a game. Trust me, it sucks horribly...some of the missions are ok, but for the most part it stinks...and laugh at how bad it is. You're gonna wanna throw your controller through the screen on the final mission (airplane runway) at how ridiculously *** it is (you're in a truck, 2 people mind you, but you CAN'T shoot behind you...where there is a jeep with 2 guys shooting me)..it's basically doing everything perfect while hoping they don't kill you...

I paid 13 bucks for it...I guess it wasn't a bad deal since I got about 5-6 hours (maybe more or less) out of it on coop, but once we beat it..it literally went to the bottom of my stack.

I picked it up for $11 used, and I think it was worth it. It's a fun game. It's definitely nothing that's gonna blow your mind, but it's good fun. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but it looks cool. I mean, who doesn't like pulling off a heist and then turning on their buddies so that they can take the loot?

As one person said above, though, the aiming can be kinda frustrating. One thing I did to make it playable was to go into the pause options.....and turn up the aim sensitivity! I turned it up to 75, because at first it was just frustratingly slow.

All in all, though, I'd say definitely buy if under $15.

The game does have lackluster singleplayer, but I found the multiplayer very fun and original. The single player was alright up until a certain point where it goes from robbery and theft to straight warfare, and the game becomes ridiculously hard. The singleplayer has nothing on the multiplayer, which is fun and kept me coming back for a couple weeks. It's not that broken, you just have to look past the flaws to see the beauty of the game :P

Poor AI,
Ugly pointless language,
Bad hitboxes and sluggish controls
Lame story

Not even worth a rental.

i bought this game for 8.00 used and i am halfway done . i understand why people don't like it. i am just not one of those people.i think the game is great fun. i have yet to try the multiplayer. it's corny but there are some fun missions. btw if you are a controller throwing type i would probably avoid this game. relax and enjoy.
