NOD Campaign
Is there anyway to access the nod missions??

I'm use to playing the PC version where you can access both groups, unfortunatly my pc died, so i bought this for the xbox 360. Good game but I want to play NOD, GDI are abit dull lol.

:)

Re: NOD Campaign
You have to beat the first 3 missions or so in the GDI campaign to unlock the Nod campaign. When you get an achievement called ToW: Washington DC, or something, the Nod campaign should be unlocked.

Re: NOD Campaign
hey

Thanks for replying. So I just play a few missions until roughly about the whitehouse mission?? Sounds easy enough.

The AI seems to be more unforgiving then the pc version haha.

Re: NOD Campaign
Even on Hard, the early campaign missions are a cakewalk until missions like GDI Croatia, GDI Berne, Nod Outback, Operation Stilletto, and Kane's Tower. NOW those missions are unforgiving.

Re: NOD Campaign
Nod outback is a bugger, I got stuck on that for one for like a month on the pc lol.

Good game though, the controls are interesting. Alot better then Kane's Wrath which seems simpler but more fiddly somehow haha.

Re: NOD Campaign
KW's controls are great, but a little buggy. The engineer quick selection doesn't work properly, I've actually wound up selecting a piece of tiberium when cycling through my engis.

Today, I advanced to the Kane's Tower mission. Apparently, easy means impossible to EA.

Re: NOD Campaign
KW controls as you say are abit buggy but I definitely think it was a great idea. I mean they work excellently when they want to but dear god when it wants to mess up, it's not shy about it haha.

Personally I prefer TW system just for the fact it's alot tidier and doesn't make you accidently quick select the wrong stuff (like you said...)!

A tip.. Get ALL of those modified Juggernauts. Those guys are so valuable to defend the Threshold Tower. They can absolutely waste GDI's Mammoth Tanks fom the comfort of your own base. When GDI builds an Ion Cannon, they are the best weapon to take them out. Venom spamming is a cheap and effective way to defend the Tower, as long as the Scrin's air defenses are down. Use the Juggys to take out Mammoths, and the Venoms to kill infantry, Predators and APC's. If you've secured the front of the Threshold tower, set up a base in front to defend it, using Obelisks and SAMs. Build a Temple of Nod and a Chem Lab and nuke GDI back to the stone age. Mop up what's left with your Juggernauts and some Avatars. GDI will attack you quickly when the level starts, so be ready.

Lol, I just spammed Obelisks and reactors until I could build the nuke building, and then spammed the Nod Bomber planes (forget their name) and just slowly bombed everything and used a Nuke to take out the main base.
I played on easy =/

PS: The Scrin campaign is a BIT*H.
EA Dev 1: LOL I have an idea, let's make a campaign for an alien faction
Dev 2:Thats kewl, but I have a better idea!!11111
D1: What's that?
D2: Let's make them  a faction with a powerful late game. But wait, let's make it so in the campaign he gets nothing but their basic, borderline useless early game units and make it so the player doesn't even have the ability to tech up to get the good units.
D1: Brilliant!

Re: NOD Campaign
The only grueling Scrin mission is Scrin Munich. Sneaking that Mastermind around all of those GDI defenses to grab the barracks is hard as hell. Once you get it, and use and engi to power down the Sonic Emitters, a bunch of Scrin reinforcements arrive. You have to be careful, since the GDI main base is well defended. Use your Devastators to kill all GDI defensive turrets, then sen in your PACs and ground forces. To keep your Mastermind alive, just garrison it in a building after your reinforcements arrive.
