Calling all Borderlands Addicts
Anyone here addicted to Borderlands? Take me to rehab. I'm not the one who stays on the game for hour but I checked my time and at least 15 hours playing. Holy Sh*t! I'm level 22. Time quit full time to get a part time job.

Looking for other players to trade weapons and items. Since I went on random co-op so many people were stealing my loot and missed out on a few weapons. I think their rare item as well.

Feel free to share war stories about Borderlands.

Let me unleash my angry side first....

Seriously guys, there are WAY too many Borderlands discussion threads here...stop it...

Now let me unleash my happy side...

Heck ya I'm addicted! I'm almost done my first playthrough, and I'm currently somewhere between 25 and 26. I would love to start trading some weapons with you guys, but I have next weeks game releases to start playing...as soon as I re-subscribe to Gold, Ill be down for anything Borderlands related.

I don't want to talk about sold out copies of Borderlands.

Making an offer. I have a Fearsome Sniper which does 192 or 196 damage. Any trades?

I'll let you know when i've got some weapons, i'll just give you them. I've got SO much money right now and pretty much all the weapons i need.

I came accross an Alien Weapon that did around 850 damage and has unlimited ammo, was pretty awesome but it fired pretty slow.

Send me a FR and i'll give you some free weapons.

Yep, I ran into two glitches so far and I can't seem to get around them.

1) The Shock achievement won't unlock for me (kill 25 enemies with a shock weapon) and I killed 150 already.
It even says 150 kills on the challenges screen.

2) One of the scavenger missions I cannot find one piece of the gun because I believe it is glitched inside a barrel! Angry [:@] This is preventing me from unlocking the "complete every mission in the Arid Badlands" achievement.

If anyone would like to help me with this in co-op- maybe that'll do the trick.

btw, I'm a level 25 Soldier

Which scavenger mission? I had trouble on the 'Sniper' one, couldn't find one piece. Ended up finding it about 50 in-game ft away from where the marker was. Sometimes the marker leads you right to 'em.. sometimes it just gives you the (very) general vicinity.

Must not be a wide spread glitch (if its even a glitch) as I have both of those achievements...

Yea, my Pyro achievement (kill 25 enemies using an incendiary weapons) is glitched also. Just wait till you get to the final boss, haaarsh framterate issues.

Thanks I just found it! It was 100 feet away from the marker on top of the highest platform behind a shack in a little corner.Surprise [:O] Rediculous and unecessary. Also while searching I found a highly priced character MOD in that same shack; go figure. It's the Rifle scavanger mission btw.

Yea, i'm gonna start the story all over again with a new character and hopefully i can get the missing Pyro achivement i need.

In regards to the final boss fight, my framerate problems were pretty noticeable. Also right when i dealed the final blow to the creature my screen kinda went all glitchy and flickered black a little. Also noticed some slow down on the Salt Flats when i was at the top of the piece of machinery looking over the area. Weird thing is, is that my game was also downloaded onto my Hard Drive so i duno ..

ya that is kind of messed up

i never had frame rate problems...even in 4-player co-op and when the last boss was using its major attacks

i heard that new playthroughs help fix the achievement problems though

I'm on my 2nd playthrough (with the same character though) and it still will not give me my achievement. Will try with another class sometime soon and see if it gives it to me then.

I have to admit, I was comletely ignorant of this game....just kind of slipped under my radar.  It wasn't until all the '$39 borderlands' threads started popping up that I looked into.  Man oh man, am I glad I did....who would of thought a bunch of numbers popping out of baddies as we shoot them would be so darn satisfying.  And the headshots are as satisfying as G.O.W, throw in some elemental effects then combine that with great character and visual design and bang...the dark horse of the year!

Re: Calling all Borderlands Addicts
I persanolly think now that, borderlands was way to easy, i made it to 50 way to fast and i already have 1000/1000 acheivments when i havent even tried for any of them except for 1, race around some where in 31 secounds. it was to easy, and if you think about it, there isnt alot of customization, u pick up weapons, u buy them, upgrade yourself, and thats it. There isnt even alot of weapons there just the same ones with small tweak diffrences. I only use 1 weapon on the game now, its a smg that reacharges its ammo 30 per secound. very usefull since a clip is 48 and takes more then a secound to load it out.

Re: Calling all Borderlands Addicts
i kicked my Borderlands habit

i  had lots of fun playing it, but the novelty is wearing thin on me

i got my Soldier to level 50 and started ranking up the other 3 players, but it just felt stale to me so i stopped and started playing other games again

i'll probably go back to it down the road though, especially when that zombie DLC hits

Bought my copy at Rogers on friday but haven't played it yet....almost scared to start it for fear that I won't be able to put it down.  They just happened to get a new shipment there and the manager said they're tough to get so I grabbed one.....paid $69.99 though!  Indifferent [:|]

After 10 days of release date. I 100% complete the game 1000/1000 gamerscore and maxed out just about everything. I'll admit, it was addicting...Time to move on.

I have been working crazy hours at work so time to play borderlands has been limited--sounds like it may be a good thing, as it'll draw the game out a it longer till the dlc hits.
