Kudos to OXM for getting a demo not available on the US Marketplace.
Yeah, it's in Japanese, but I was able to figure it out.
If anyone is stuck on the demo, here's a little walkthrough:
Explore around the town if you like, the main goal is to go where the arrow is pointing to on the map on the right hand corner. You will then enter a field and fight this wolf-like monster (which is a tutorial) Many gamers have reported being stuck on this part.
How it worked for me is I switched the leader to Argo (press Y and then maneuver over to the 3 characters and select the middle one) and also switch to him in the main menu (by pressing the start button), then just do overdrive and chain breaks, etc attacks (Attack pressing the a button and x button, when it says chain ready, switch to another character on the dpad and continue attacking and then switching and doing combos) Discussions will appear showing you are progressing. Just continue switching characters and doing chain
attacks with the d pad and x button and you will be able to continue on
with the demo.
You will then fight more monsters after the tutorial by moving your character north into another field (optional, don't have to). If your character
dies, leave the battle by pressing the Left trigger and then press the
y button and use the last item to revive the character. The other items
are healing potions. You can also use them during battle in the
appropriate time.. if you like, you can just run past the monsters and
fight the boss. (It's an orange icon near the top of the map).
After you complete the boss, the demo is over... Enjoy!
