With The Phoenix's record win, and the upcoming NZ World Cup game - Let's create some of our own fame...

I’m running a Fifa 10 league which will run from now until 8pm on Friday 27 November.

The league is limited to 15 spots, so get in there (The previous ones fill up quite quickly).

If you’re interested, send me a message over live (Gamertag = Teljam) – I’ll send you an invite.

This is a league for NZ 360 gamers only – It’s a lot of fun, and the winner of the league will receive a free game at the whim of the mighty Kumara Kid, as well as owning the kudos of being the League Champ!

In addition, there'll be a participation prize - To have a chance at winning this prize, you'll just need to complete the same amount of games as the league winner.

NOTE: For this league, you can choose any team you want - including international ones - so I'm sure we'll see lots of Barcelona's and Chealsea's!!

There’s a couple of guidelines to note please as follows:

All games are 5 minutes per half

Each team will play every other team twice - so you get another chance against each other.

It's recommended that you play your second game immediately after the first one - That get's both games out of the way at once.

I’ll be making no allowance for disconnects – Fifa 10 allocates points to the person who disconnects – so you’ll just have to live with the outcomes here – so please make sure your NAT settings on your router are set to open etc.

Try and make sure you complete all of your games – Even if you’re not winning the league, the results of your games can influence who actually does win ++ you could win the participation prize!!

You can play your games anytime – Once you’re in the league lobby – it shows who’s online from the league, and you can send invites etc from there

The winner will be the leader as at 10pm on Friday 27 November – ie. So have your games completed BEFORE 10pm on that day. (NB. With Fifa 10, I currently cannot turn-off play-offs - so depending on games being played etc, it might enter into a pay-off mode - Because this our first Fifa 10 league, we'll have to see how this works).

+ If you’re new to this, don’t be afraid to ask for help or tips – Most of the good players are more than happy to help

nzmofo is setting the early pace with 8 wins from 8 games - Can't wait to have a crack at him myself.

It's great to see Sparta back into the Fifa leagues. He messaged me for a game, as he hadn't played too much online - so I suggested he play me before getting into some of the better players - Also I thought maybe this is my chance to pick up 6 easy points in 2 games - How wrong I was - Sparta beat me both times 3-0!! Thanks for coming!!...lol
