Its not a glitch its actually a neat improvement on last year.
When you press LB and the click the right analog stick, you switch to the gk. You have to manually change back if you want to be an outfield player again.
This allows you to position you gk for free kicks and corner kicks. So if you know the opponent is going to try a cheesy under the wall freekick, just move your gk a bit to the side and quickly change back to a normal player. Same goes for corners, I just put him in the middle of the box and try to catch the corners. Beware though as you can be vulnerable when moving the gk and I often forget to change back on time meaning I come out with the gk when the ball has been cleared!
