Ive had Dead Space since about 3 months after its realease. I played it for a while when i got it, did some chapters on easy, got about 400 G then stopped on chap 10. This week i thought im bored, why not finish the thing as my Girlfriend bought me it. I finish it, The ending was amazing, and i remeber the story well and its great. I also have Deadspace downfall anime movie which also gives me insight and further truth to its awesomness.
Now ive gone for my second playthough today to rack up the 1000 G, its great and its a shame i didnt immerse myself so much.
Now i want to know if anyone agree's in gerneral on its great immersion of sotry and great gameplay. and How far you as a gamer would put this game in you top - top 10 - top 20?

Honestly, I would put this game top 10 maybe even top 5 of my all time favorites. I love spooky games and the no gravity/space visuals were amazing. EA did a really great job on this one

Definately top 10, may even sneak into top 5, we'll see how it rates after my turn through the campaign is over ,see if i still think it's incredible once i've completed it The developers really did a great job in immersing the players, i especially like how they've thought of everything, such as the coded wall emassages that I, and I imagine others didn't bother to decode etc, but it's good to see that a lot of effort was put into the story in so many ways.

Dead Space is a really great game and is a true horror game, unlike some others (i.e Resident Evil) which claim to horror but which are nothing more than American blood-fests. It's good to see that more people apriceate the game for what it is. It's one of the few games to reall scare me and that means I'm having fun. ^_^

RE 2 was the only horror game to make me scream.  Walked down the same hallway 40 times, no problems, then walk again only to have zombie arms bust through the boarded up window to grab me.  Never forgot that.  Good times!

I had been watching Dead Space for awhile before it came out. I watched all the movie shorts and saw downfall. I think they added a lot to the game and I definatley would put Dead Space in the top 5.
