When I want to launch the game, my xbox brings up the following message:

"The game could not start. Please download again..."

But downloading it again didn't solve the problem. Anyone else having the same problem???

Any ideas? this is a sad day:(

Still didn't work,  I tried it with the disk with my old hd and it works, anyone explainthat?

still not working downloaded patch mircosoft told me to and still nothing.

I'm having an issue close to this, whenever I download it it says "Can't Download" Even though I have more than enough HDD space and don't have any Parental Controls turned on. Has anyone else had the same problem or is it just me?

I too just downloaded halo since it is at a reduced price this week and it will not work on my 360.  this is very frustrating to hear that the 120 gb hard drive is not compatible with original content.  it kind of defeats the purpose of original xbox downloads on live.

If true wtfruit MS, patch it or refund me. I just got the 120gb hd too.

so is it only people with 120GB HDD that are having issues

I have a twenty gig and it will not work along with NG black. I have emailed and called xbox.  Was told to download patch I did.  Will not work still.  Xbox live is giving me a run around right now.

I called up live and they told me to redowload and then I got the red light 1.  Of course it is a 20 gig 360 I got off E-bay.  So I guess I got get a new one from store now.

I have 120 gig and I didn't have any problems... hmmm

Well I've had similar problems and I find if you go on your dashboard system->memory->games->*name of game* find the biggest file which is probably the download and delete it otherwise when you go to "Redownload" it doesn't actually redownload all of it so it ends up keeping bits that are probably corrupt.

Works for me every time. Same with DLC you just need to actually delete it before you download it again otherwise it doesn't work. It's sort of like what cache does.

clear uer cache and re dl but ensure u have enough room
