To kill or not kill Jeong (SPOILERS)
O.K.  Just finished clearing the Geth in the tunnels at Feros and am heading back to Zhu's Hope to free the colonists from the Thorian.

I went back to reunite Lizbeth with her mother and Jeong is going crazy.  I try to talk him down and it looks like there is an option to use Charm on him.  But, it seems my level isn't high enough since the option is greyed out.

My character is currently at level 34 and his Charm is maxed out, but I still can't access that Charm conversation option!  I always end up killing him in the end!  Crying [:'(]

Am I missing something???  Why can't I get my Charm up any higher to win this conversation option?

Do I have to get over a certain level to unlock higher Charm levels?  Or can I only do it after multiple playthroughs?  Embarrassed [:$]

I want to get the Paragon achievement ... and this would probably put me over the top (am currently at/or around 70%).

Besides, I don't like shooting him if I can talk him down!  Angel [A]

You have to have your charm or intimidate pretty high to talk him down (forget the exact number but it is up there) Personaly I always find it more satisfying to shoot him. He is one of those people you run into that just deserves what is coming to him.

You are able to unlock Charm and Intimidation talents by how high you Paragon and Renegade. So unless you are high enough in the Paragon aspect, regardless of how many free talent points you have available, higher levels of Charm will be locked to you.

i always role-play as a good guy, can't help it - but, jeong is a spineless greedy corporate suit with no respect for human life - so even if i'm a paragon and i *can* charm him, i just waste him anyway.

Have you done the side quest on Earth's moon yet?
Once you do that mission you'll be able to max out your charm/intimidate completely as well as adding other talents to your Shepard.

Jeong was a corporate weasel, and much like a baseball dad, you shouldn't lose sleep over shooting him in the face.

Don't pretend your game is "challenging" because you only give me four bullets to kill eight zombie dogs with.

I concur with CREEPING GIBS on this one. I am always playing the nice hero but this guy has to die with extreme prejudice for there to be any juistice in the galaxy. Waste him.
