This forum has well documented information regarding the freezing issues and I have tried them all but it still freezes 90% of the time for me

When completing the scenario missions I have had to complete the majority twice so it would save. The order for scenario mode is results --> achievement --> save.

On one occasion my console froze and I didn't get the achievement. I repeated the mission again and it froze however this time it unlocked. It is this issue that becomes a problem with the premium rewards.

The premium rewards follows a different process of results --> save --> achievement. After shooting down my second boss in big boss mode. My console froze and like has happened once before I didn't unlock the achievement. I repeated the mission but no achievement probably because it already saved that I have the plane unlocked.

As a result I had to start up a second pilot, rank him up, shoot down the boss, shoot him down in big boss mode and finally get my achievement.

The easy solution I found is this. After shooting the big boss down in the arena and you land and save, copy your save to a memory card. If then it doesn't unlock the achievement you can copy the save back to your HDD and repeat the mission without having to rank up another pilot.

Shuwa, I know you are a regular in this forum and I am a relative new comer so I am not going to give you too much grief, but did you actually read my post.

I have spent considerable time searching and reading the posts in this forum including the guides and the "freezing" threads. I could find nothing about this particular issue and if there is something about it you have my apologise in advance.

In fact the only thread I could find relating to the premium boss issue I encountered is this http://forums.xbox.com/13478213/ShowPost.aspx which has the usual "see this freezing thread" which doesn't actually solve the problem I had. I note BEWSEY still hasn't got the premium achievement he asked about and has most likely given up on this game.

The reason I posted was I felt it was NEW helpful information including a solution for people. If you don't see it that way then we will have to agree to have different opinions.

sorry for sounding like an quantum singularity, but i saw what time i replied and most likely it was a drunken reply. i too had the game freeze at the very end on several occasions. once i killed the last enemy, i didn't touch the controller at all. i set it down and let the game go through the end of the scenario and credits. boom, achievement. happy me :)

I think everyone who still plays the game had LONG finished the campaign and are just struggling to get the final cheevo...like myself..

I met some American guy on Live called Salsa.. He just let me destroy his base whilst he was doing somthing else, although this didn't rank me up to pred/Top Guy, I did appreciate his offer!! Cheers mate.

Another thing about the glitches...I had completed the full game 3x over including Hell mode and STILL had about 9 planes that didn't unlock for me.. I even went thru the entire campaign again getting rank 'A' on all missions thinking this was the only way to unlock the planes.. I hadn't even unlocked the 2nd A10???

Anyways, 4th time thru I got them all..

I've had some funky scores on Arena mode too.. shooting 5 planes and missing the carrier 3x seems to get you anout 300,000 points...  "See previous thread for pictures"

im still keen to play, havent got the last achievement yet either, send a FR.
