Zune Video and File Size
Hi just got Zune Video on my 360 as part of trial programme in NZ and was wondering how big the file sizes might be for example the movie Witness is 1hr52m what range of size 1gb or 4gb say for the 1080p version ?Does anyone know it is just that our bandwith caps in NZ are pretty draconion and i want to try and manage what i do as best i can any help advice etc is greatly appreciated.

Glad your checking out the new Zune Marketplace. The 1080 for Witness is 8.2 gigs. The SD is 1.4 gigs. The size of the film is listed in the Details pannel to the right of the movie poster. The size will change depending on which format you have selected.

I thought that might be the case our limits in NZ our pretty low.This would blow my whole month worth in one go almost .I guess i won't be doing this anytime soon then what a bummer.Sad [:(]

ya its a huge size but if you want that 1080p that's what you have to do unless you have enough speed to watch 1080p instant on. But i guess the amount of information coming in for instant on would eat up your months worth of download limit. I guess in your area if you really want a full 1080p snag a blu ray player you can snag a new LG bluray player for $128. from newegg.com    :o)
