Shotest Shogi

my Roaming Account doesn't work w/ Shogi

Has anyone else tried using Shotest Shogi on a "Roaming Console" (on a different console than it was purchased on while signed into LIVE?)

For some reason, every other Arcade title I have works fine this way, but Shotest Shogi doesn't. I no longer have the original purchasing console, so this would be my only way to play it. Marketplace recognizes that I've purchased it so it won't let me re-buy it, but only the trial game loads.

Would some of you be willing to try playing Shotest Shogi while signed into LIVE on a friend's console who HAS NOT bought the game? (If they've bought the game, then everyone on that console can play wether they're signed into LIVE or not anyway.) I'm assuming this is just a fluke with my account, but I'd like to make sure it isn't more widespread.

Yes, I just noticed that I can no longer play since getting a replacement 360 due to the RROD problem.  I've deleted the game and re-downloaded the full version from the Marketplace yet the game only loads up in Trial mode.  I'm logged in with the same account that purchased the game originally.

Haha, I had this problem too when I bought the game on a friend's 360 and then wanted to play on my 360. The game is linked to the 360 it was purchased. What to do then? There is a page somewhere around here that lets you transfer your purchases to a new 360.

I have yet to play with a roaming account but I think its a Shotest Shogi issue in general since every other game works fine with roaming. I have noticed some bugs with the game here (especially with 2 player local play) and there so this game is not perfect. Hopefully we get some updates soon :)

Every other XBLA game I have works fine after my license transfer (which was done due to RROD).  Shotest Shogi is the only one that doesn't work, so I do believe it is a bug with the game.  I'm exchanging emails with the developers now so hopefully there will be some resolution, but my guess is that it's a bug that will not be fixed (it will be too expensive for rubicon to create and process an update) and I'm out of luck.

I found the page mentioned for tranfering licences to your new 360. It can only be done once a year though.
