YOUR Rankings...
I personally rank my teams on how good they are, and who would beat who, not necessarily the resume.

1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. Oregon
4. Florida
5. Cincinnati
6. TCU
7. Boise State
8. Iowa

Darren Sproles = LIGHTNING WITH LEGS! The opposite can be said of Kevin Ellison who is rated as slow or slower than 2 DT's!

I wouldn't have much of a problem with that if you swapped Alabama and Florida.

Only reason being is that I think Arkansas is a better team than Tennessee whom Alabama needed to block a FG to beat when as Florida controlled that game against ARK and kicked a FG to win.

Arkansas is better than Tennessee... Okay, well Alabama routed Arkansas. Arkansas and UT both held on tight against Florida.

the same Arkansas team Alabama handled 35-7. What's your point?

So dominating USC in a 27 point victory is irrelevant? Too bad Ohio State couldn't do that.

Maybe he thinks that at this point in the season, those 5 teams are better than Boise State?

its possible ... I think you Oregon boys are thinking this is the same old USC that you beat. dont get me wrong, I dislike USC cuz I live in SoCal ... but I think it was obvious to everyone that Oregon was the better team going in ... and by beating USC, Oregon actually helped out Boise State's strength of schedule ...

It's not the same Oregon team from the beginning of the year though.. Masoli couldn't even complete a pass. They looked just awful against Boise. Perhaps the worst you could ever play... Then they still looked bad against Purdue, only winning by 2, managed to beat a good Utah team while still not playing that well... and has been the best looking team over the past 5 weeks.

I'd be interested in a Boise State - Oregon rematch in a BCS game.

How can you say Texas, Bama and Oregon are better than Florida? Florida has had a few rough games but so have the above teams. Florida finally woke up their offense and played perhaps their best game of the season and people still give them no love???

No, but it's still a very good win. I know USC isn't the same as they have been in the past. They lost their 3 starting LB's from last year in the top 38 picks of the NFL Draft. That's extremely tough. But USC is known to "reload, not rebuild". This is still the worst loss in Pete Carroll's tenure at USC. That's gotta count for quite a bit!

1. Florida --- till someone beats them they'll be #1
2.  Alabama --- best Defense ive seen
3.  Texas --- I hate someone whose first name is COLT
4.  Iowa --- Big Ten is BADDD this year.  But they continue to still get W's.
5.  TCU --- THey would beat Cincy by 2 TD's.

So, my question is, how would you argue for a 1 loss team in the Pac-10 being ranked higher than Alabama and Florida.

Anyway, my rankings would be:

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama
4. Iowa
5. Oregon
6. Cincinatti
7. Boise State
