So, i'm at the end of the mission to bring down the SSD. I get almost to the point where I only have to hold the sticks down to bring it down, but the frickin tie fighters wont die quick enough so the SSD resets and I have to do it all over again. I tried literally for 45 mins fri night.

I can get the first 3 or 4 fighters easily enough, but the last one or two seem to elude me constantly. Nothing hits, not lightning, not saber, not even the barrels. Eventually i get them of course, but i need to get them much quicker. Any tips?

Grab one of them and send it towards another, this takes out 2 at a time. Do this 2-3 times and lightning the last ones that are too far apart.

It took me a hour my first time, but after playing it 3 times it gets easier and faster, just be patiant and let the fighters hit you untill your health turns red, then destroy them like i said to get health  and the Star Destroyer wont completely reset so you should have enought time to bring it down.

Perhaps you need to give it another try as maybe something was getting hung up.  I was able use Force Lightening to take down all the fighters pretty quickly, though it's been a while since I played that level.

Definetly, Force Lightning is the best offense. Just hide behind the pillars and then jump out and take out the TIE's. Once done with each set, the game will set u back to bring down the D-stroyer.

As someone else mentioned, wait until your health bar is red to hide again. rinse-repeat.

Yeah Lightning is just as fast as griping them if not faster.

I think my timing is just off with the lightning. I finally noticed just the tiniest blue reticle when they get close. Its the last one or two that take frickin forever. I'll get it eventually...but right now focusing on Dragon Age...and after tonight MW2

Have the same problem as the OP. Trying to kill the last 1 -2 fighters takes a longer time than destroying the rest of the fighter squadron.
