Anybody heard any news or insight if they will make a sequel or not?  I've tried finding information on the internet but had no luck and figured I'd ask here.  I'm assuming it might be a no since the game did not sell all that well?  I hope so.  I think it could be a great series.  Played it over at a friends and beat the whole game so can't wait to pick it up myself on Ebay.

That's what I feared.  I noticed that the game got marked down in price to $40 just after a few months.  Usually that happens to games that don't sell real well.  Mercenaries 2 went down to $20 not too long after the release either.
It's a shame cause this game is really good.  Great story.  Although it does need a lot of improvements, I think it could be a strong action game series.  Especially since we don't know what's going on with the Ninja Gaiden series.

I have no idea why mercs 2 was brought down to 20$, but when I found out I went out and bought it the next day, and the same with this game too, I was looking at it before it came out but I forgot about it, then I was looking around on the internet and found an add for it and saw it moved down a bit in price so I went out and bought it

I honestly hope that a sequel will come out for this game. I don't get why this game hasn't sold well. I tried the demo and went out and bought the game the same day. Completed it entirely. It was fun, intense, and I really like the commands of pressing keys to keep the action going when fighting bosses and so forth. Anytime I show friends this game, they are like "wow" with many of them picking it up. Maybe it's because most people only assume that a ninja game is only good of the word "Gaiden" is in it?

In any event, I would love to see a sequel - and if you haven't played Ninja Blade you honestly are missing something fun.

I have both ninja gaiden II and as of yesterday I went out and got Ninja Blade after playing the demo and I was like WOW! This is amazing. I am still working on beating it but I love every second of this game and more games should have this sort of directorial job in them. It is like playing an oscar worthy kick quantum singularity ninja movie haha! I love it and it just does not get old. Ninja Gaiden will always be great but Ninja Blade is just plain amazing!

I think people judge it not only on the criteria you mentioned but also they assume that it was one of those quick released and waste of time half done games. People can sometimes judge a book by its cover and due to lack of promotion prior to this and advertising now people are hesitant to pick up a game like this unless of course they have taken the time to play the demo in most cases.

It is likely going to be one of those under the radar amazing greats that people miss the first time but if and hopefully when they make a sequel I think more people will check out the first if that one is just as amazing or even better and will likely have better sales then as by the sequel the money for advertising and everything is starting to be there.
