Im planning on getting this. How are they? Will someone that has one tell me hows the sound quality, durability, and all that is? Also what do you need on the tv to hook it up? If someone can post a video or a site with pictures on what you need that would be great.

I have a turtle beach, and I'm assuming the HPX is somewhat similar to the one I have. You just need right and left audio, and a video port (Red, White, and Yellow ports) on your TV to get the full experience out of it. If your TV is like mine and doesnt have all three (Mine didn't have the red audio port), you're going to need to hook it up to your TV using something like a DVD player or a VCR.


Setting it up is fairly straight forward, and directions to set it up correctly come inside the package as well, so you should have no troubles.

Thanks, but i have a HDTV so i have Green Blue Red Yellow White all those. But all i need is the 2 audio (Red and Yellow idk which ones). And the mixamp and i have 5.1?

if you buy the mixamp with the hpx's, all you need is an optical cable to connect to the the Component adapter behind the xbox. its pretty simple and easy.
