I just wanna know because maybe most of you like anime or those stuff, and when this popular RPG franchise comes in stores are you really gonna buy this game? maybe I will. But what makes this game so special for otakus?

What the heck are you talking about? I'm sure any real RPG fan will buy Final Fantasy.

What does being an anime fan have to do with liking the game? Even people that hate anime are going to buy this.

BTW, you might not want to go around calling every anime fan an otaku, it's not necessarily a good thing.

That's right, in my opinion otakus are king of extremists. Abyway, what does it matter who likes the game? I buying this evend if all the freaks of the world like it. (I'm not calling otakus freaks)

Yeah, the term Otaku is sometimes synonymous with "freak" and "outcast" in Japan. They're anime/manga fans that take their dedication to the franchise to the extreme, and face criticism for it.

Even so, the Final Fantasy franchise is well-known enough that I think it will continue to pull in droves of fans, regardless of whether or not they're otakus. The fact that it's coming over to the Xbox means that a larger market will have a chance to get their hands on the franchise.

haha otaku's. im a anime fan but i wouldnt call myself one or other ppl one. i think most anime fans are into videos games too so yea they will most likely buy and play this game. as being a anime fan i would prefer to play the game in its original form, such as with the original japanese dub. i loathe english dubs to anime and japanese made games. 99%% of the time the japanese dubs are better then the english. tho after watching the english dub ff13 previews and trailers i actually think the english actor cast did a really good job. i will definitely buy this game with either language.
