I got the invite for the new live update preview program the DAY after my console told me it couldn't take anymore constant abuse with it's pretty red lights.

2 questions I guess.

Is the official update out yet?

If it isn't will I still be eligible for the program when I get my repaired box back (shipped today, 3rd week now)

No It's still in preview. And it will not affect you if you get the same console back.

If you receive a different console, go back to the connect site and select surveys. There you wil see where you can resubmit your console ID.

I wouldn't count on it.  I was told to resubmit my ID and still no update.

Side note. make sure the ID is changed by MS before you attach your HDD. You will be locked out. To the other user. This is not an automatic process, staff have to enter your data.
