He also played with Queens of the Stone Age on Songs for the Deaf, even though Go With The Flow does not feature him.

He's awesome, that's why he's everywhere. It's no longer 6 degrees of separation, but rather 6 degrees of Grohl.

Oh don't start this again. The last thing we need is another track pack lol.

Foo is pretty hit and miss for me. Some good ones, some not so much. However, I haven't found a song that I've hated, just songs that bore me.

And Tenacious D is not lame!!! Surprise [:O]

As much as Dave is a kool kid, and he's written some great music, and has been in some great bands. I don't think he can sing.

I personally like both of their voices. I think a lot of rock singers get flack for having bad voices, when in reality, rock is just harder to sing than other genres.

The notes need hit moar.

Not really, Rock is one of the few genres where you can get rich and famous for having a bad voice.

Re: Best Drummer In Nirvana
I'd have to say Grohl, and on another note wouldn't rap and hip-hop be the biggest genres of music where u can get rich and famous for having a terrible voice?

Re: Best Drummer In Nirvana
Not necessarily, since a lot of it is what is considered a good voice (Mariah Carey, Beyonce, etc.). Of course, my opinion is that I don't care how "great" your voice is, if you sound like everyone else and are devoid of passion, then you're not interesting.

Technically that's Metal.

But Lemmy has always stressed that he thinks Motorhead is a Hard Rock band. Iommi also felt that he was playing Hard Rock with Sabbath.

When did I say that...?

I like Creed, and I like Foo Fighters. I don't think Scott can sing very well now, I don't think Dave Grohl can.

Rock & Roll, even.

I still like Probot better than pretty much everything else Grohl has done.

That's true with commercial pop rock, not necessarily with most actual rock bands. Singers like Mariah Carey don't have to sing over top of electric guitars and heavy drums. I just think a rock singer's voice gets put through a lot more stress on most occasions.

The notes need hit moar.

Re: Best Drummer In Nirvana
Not really, you can alter the mix. Turn up vocals or turn down the drums and guitars, problem solved. If you know how to sing, your voice shouldn't be straining much.
