Man does it suck compared to xbox live.  Played with some friends of mine and they all tell me to shut up PS3 is the best.  Its so hard to handle the controls and the game play is not smooth!  Its so hard to quick scope.  Anyone else play on PS3 before?

i play it on ps3 and it seemed that i played alot better with those ps3 controllers , then when i started on xbox

I find them to be exactly the same, other than the leaderboards, which are rubbish on the PS3.

I found it quite similar, I found the people on the playstation version of the game weren't as good as the people playing on xbox.

played both, they are the same as long as you switch the layout to r2 for fire and l2 to aim then its the same, servers are the same, same types of people everything

i dont have cod4 on ps3 but i reckon 360 controller is better

Theres a little lie in what i said i played alot better with the original ps3 controllers the ones i got with my ps3 when i bought it , and since i started to use the Dual shock 3 controllers (when i bought one of those) i started to suck a litle bit more at the game .

I've played this game on PS3. Public matches seemed a lot easier and, surprisingly, it was a lot less laggy for me on PS3.
I hate the PS3 controller however, my hands are too big for it and it's really uncomfortable. IMO the dualshock/sixaxis isn't suited for FPS games.

i play on the s3 all the time and have no problems.

I prefer 360 just because it's what most of my friends have, so I can play with them. If it were not for that, I would probably prefer the PS3 because of MGS4, Blu-ray, and no RROD. I also hear the PSN community is generally better behaved than the LIVE community.

i like the way the 360controllers are made the only thing i dislike with those controllers is how hard it is to aim with the L+R-stick etc (they work not smooth enough and thats my problem with the 360 controllers).

Xbox 360 controllers fit into your hands better and the old PS3 controllers were too light.

Yes! I have CoD4 on both my 360 as well as my PS3. I like them both. The PS3 version lacks the vibration but seems to handle a tad quicker than the 360 version. Of course, you have to get used to the controls, but once you do it's just as good as the 360 game.

why do you rich ppl have the same game on both platforms?

thats my problem with the 360 controller i just can't aim fast enough anymore >> means i'm not used to those and it makes me a mad when i try to play cod4 on the 360.

I had no PS3 by the time that i bought cod4 for on my brothers 360 , then i started playing online on the xbox and i got my butt handed pretty hard so i bought it for on my PS3 and switched and did alot better on ps3.

I have cod4 for my xbox and ps3.The ps3 has a better community but xbox just pwns

ive played cod4 mw on ps3 and i dont like it because the controller is too small and the analog sticks are too low and close.
