Just wondering if I can play Big Surf Island on only one profile. I tried deleting Big Surf Island and redownloading it but it still won't let me play it on another profile. weird.

i have 3 differrent profiles on 1 xbox and i have no trouble at all i hope i helpd u a bit just send me a frenid request for more info cammybenji99

Thanks for the response. I'm still not sure why Big Surf Island isn't being detected on my other profile. I recently upgraded to an Elite but attached the same 20 gig hard drive to it so maybe thats an issue. I'm waiting for my transfer cable so I can transfer it to the 120 gig. Hopefully it will work then.

try re-downloading it, shouldn't take more than a few seconds and won't cost you any ms points. the reason for re-downloading has something to do with a content online licence or something, i had to re-download all my rockband songs (and there's a lot) on my new 360 so i can play them online, which funny enough i don't do.

so yeah see if that works.

u have to re dl it on the elite or else u have to go through licence transfering(the horror!)

If you have two controllers, go to the dashboard and sign in with the profile that has the island and the profile that you want to play as, then turn off the controller with the Island and start the game with the other one.

Thanks everybody. It finally worked. What I ended up doing was transfering the content license and redownload it to my elite, which was pretty painless using the directions here http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/
