Rite so turned my xbox on today an cant connect to xbox live, done all the suggestions thats its told me (turn router off and open ports but nothin has worked. my internet is workin fine on all the computers. Can anyone help me

Also having the same problem. Everything was working fine yesterday but now it refuses to connect to XBL. It also refuses to connect to Steam so I'm wondering if its my ISP because I've tried everything else...

im was workin fine last night to but today it just doesnt want to work, i was thinkin it was my internet but all the computers in the house workin fine. who is ur isp??

Everything seems to be working for me aswell except for XBL and Steam.
Whatever the problem is I hope it sorts itself out soon...

what was the result when you run the test xbox live connection? what was the error message that you've got when you click the more info section?

It just said coul not connect to xbox live, told me to turn off my router for 30 secs an try again ( did this nothin happened ) then told meto open ports ( done that still didnt work )

maybe you should try connecting your xbox to your computer via an ethernet cable  and bridge the connection

where did it exactly failed? there should be a description of your issue at the beginning of the more info section. that is very significant so that we can determine your issue

Let's troubleshoot all of this from a hardware level. Can you take your XBOX 360 and try it on another network? This would help. Then try resetting all settings to default on the XBOX 360. If that doesn't work, try setting a static IP for the 360. Try to reset all defaults on the router. DMZ your console while you're at it.

Check your Router settings, you could also try assigning a Static NAT and see if that fixes the problem. My Xbox Live connection seems rather screwed too, so I'm hoping at least somebody can have their problem fixed.

Did a test today an it failed again
 1st message i got was........theres a problem with your connection. select more info for a description of the prolem and how to fix it.

when i selectd more info it said - your console is connected to the internet but cant contact xbox live, turn your router off and back on , then wait 30 seconds.

i did this it didnt work.

its not something to do with the sky player is it?

Mine has suddenly stopped working. I can sign in but not download anything or join a party - ran a test, no errors reported but the top corner did mention those who have downloaded the sky player may experience slow or intermittent connections....

How long will this last?!

I havent got sky player so dont think thats the problem for me.
