This game was and has inhibited me from enjoying other games.  God I was so freaking tired of hearing nothing but complaining and Host this and Host that.............I can't even play the game type that I wanted to unless ALL my friends were online and we won the vote.......LAME

Sure I will probably buy Gears 3 but for now trading in Gears was the best decision I have made in a while. Games are suppose to be fun and enjoyable to play and I found myself frustrated most of the time playing ***!

I don't either. They aren't going to give me $10 for a game and then turn around and sell it for $55.  I don't want the money that bad. 

And as much as I hate Gears 2 and I've vowed never to play public anymore, I still can't find the strength to get rid of it.  It might be a little bit easier when MW2 comes out, so we'll see.

I"m just trying to understand how you could never of been happier in your whole life than the time that you traded in Gears of War 2.....sad, just sad.........

Selling the game on eBay is much more profitable than a GS trade-in btw.

First of all, anyone who trades in games is a moron. What if you decide you want to play again in the future? Or maybe just play some co-op/single player? It has a great campaign. What did GameStop give you for it? $10? About one hour worth of working a part time job for a game you spent a year playing and obviously love? I haven't played Gears in a while because I can't stand the bullsh1t either (and there are better games to play), but come on. Was that really worth it. I just can't stand seeing people being taken advantage of by GameStop.

Also I can understand putting it on ebay and auctioning it off for a better price, but working full time and going to college part time, I would rather use my spare time doing other things besides putting stuff up on ebay and then spending time shipping it out!
Whatever works for ya though, but again..........I guess my whole point was I was so busy playing gears that I probably missed out on playing other games or titles that were probably alot more enjoyable than gears not just the upcoming titles, but anything.....

Yeah but still: 10% ($1.00) + 25% ($2.50) + $10.00 = $13.50 is not worth it IMO.  Also why isn't there a forum for folks that want to sell there games on xbox live.  It makes sense to me.  Even regional forums so say if someone's in my area I could just drop off the $$ and pick it up.

The matchmaking, host advantage and BS ruin Gears 2. Though I sniped with a boom the other day on Canals...I had boom at our high side of middle bridge and saw the sniper looking at me so I shoot it and get around the corner, I look at the bottom of my screen and get a kill.

First, Sorry for being in a rush and not proof reading my post before I posted it, my bad....I forgot that the grammar police are watching and have nothing better do with their lives then to try to belittle others for spelling or grammatical errors to make themselves better?

And as far as getting my *** handed to me, Yes it has happened. But that isn't why I returned Gears. Honestly I am avid fan of Gears and I wish 2 was more like the first one. But that didn't stop me from playing, I have played (put up with) this game over the past year and every night I have to deal with the BS even from my friends......host this, host that....F'n Lag....Did we get host?...Then even if we didn't get host and have a great connection every time you kill someone else you are either a noob or it was BS that you killed them, and it's possible that you might even get some hate mail for simple playing a game....It's crazy and to me it's no longer any fun....So to answers your other comment, No I don't suck at Gears I am just tired of the BS.
