A halo movie is being made, and the director is going to publish it free on the web.

Do you guys think that the Halo Waypoint will carry it? Or will it be in the Video Marketplace?

and more importantly, will it be free here too or will they charge to let you watch it on your tv?

Since Bungie probably never apporved someone random to make this movie, let alone some random dude. I can guarantee it will never appear. I would literally bet my Car, house and two weeks pay, that you'll never see it on the waypoint, as its not official nor probably at all did they secure rights to do so.

Bungie endorses fans to create content all the time.. They even posted on october 26th, information about it.

They may have put out word, but for it to be published for commercial use, the filmmaker would need rights, and he doesnt have that. Anyone can create a fan film, we know that. But to use it commercially, or in another domain like waypoint, you'd need rights to do so. I doubt Bungie would give them rights to publish anywhere.....

So it would be provided for free then?

Red Vs. Blue do not hold rights to make any halo films, yet they still have content on the marketplace, for sale no less.
