Sorry if this was already posted before.

Alright, this topic is for ideas that they should update or put in, in the next Xbox Dashboard Update. Here are mine:

I) From the topic of: Xbox 360 Auto-Off Option (of my idea): http://forums.xbox.com/26967795/ShowPost.aspx  I would like to see is a sleep timer option, like when your watching a dvd on your xbox 360; I mean they have them on your televisions, why not on the Xbox 360. I think they should have that option while your playing a game too, but when you set it, if your not there or you fell asleep, it would give you a three minute heads up (while it countdowns), and if you don't stop it it'll turn off in those three minutes.

   Now that would be sweet!

II)    A filter for your achievements. Example: If your sick and tired of those DLC achievements, especially when you got all 1000gp and you fill satisfied, but then they have the DLC achievements and your like crap, I don't want to buy that to get those achievements. Here is the idea: A filter for your achievements, like when you want to see all of the achievements you already got, you can have a filter button saying, "show me the achievements I've already achieved"; or a button that will let you filter out the achievements you don't have; or a filter that will let you see all of the retail game achievements, blocking the DLC achievements; or a filter that will let you see just the DLC achievements; and last but not least, an "ALL" filter button so you can see (of course) all of the achievements.

(couldn't really explain in better words, but I hope you get my idea/picture. Something along the lines of that)

III) Instead of a the original backup thing (to play your original xbox games), you can play ALL!!! the original xbox games. Just as long as it reads 'xbox game' it can play, instead of the original 480 (or so) games it can read, I mean all of them!!!

Well of course you can tell, I'm having a brain fart today and can't think or explain them that well, well now its all up to you people to bring these awesome update ideas! Brain storm away...!

I wish they could add an update for wireless N.

I have a few going round in my head, one of which is an uninstall option.  The NXE gave us the option to install our games to the hard drive, removing them isn't hard but what about an uninstall option?  This way you won't accidently delete your save games.

Just a thought.

Here is one I bet people are looking for use your own pictures  real pictur on xbox live  like if you already have a picture on your computor you want use.

I wish there was a software you could install on your PC and be able to play all of you music and videos and see you photos from anywhere.   Example:  I want to stream music at a friends house or watch a movie that I have on my computer.  I guess you get what I mean now.  This would be a great addition.  Then you won't have to have it connected to the same network for that stuff to work!!!  I really hope this feature will at least come out sometime!

Yeah I agree with this one. It was a major pet peeve I had when I found out I couldn't upload Morrowind or Kotor to my harddrive. Both games have huge problems that feel like they could be solved this way.

I'd like to see a more customizable theme creator. Like you could pick the color of the foreground area, while also choosing your own background. Or being able to mix up and choose foregrounds with backgrounds on the premium themes. Like the Night's black foreground with Fable II's background, and Day's Icons. 

I wish a new update would not break the xbox instead of making it faster and better.

Hi microsoft it waould  bbe great if there where support for an addon USB BlUETOOTH ADAPTER for the next dashboard update release. Hi I would realy realy realy like to have this it would be a huge hit for me and, probaly alot more out there its all over the internet please consider it a magor requaset.

Its one simple thing I've wanted for a WHILE. I want to be able to choose what friends see when I'm online. Say I want to show up as offline to one person but instead the xbox is designed to show you as offline to everyone.

I'm pretty sure this is a really easy fix. It can't possibly be that hard to do. And for everyone else's benefit, a larger friend list capacity would be appreciated by nearly everyone

I wished they added apps like espn360.com, to get local sports scores, A music app to get songs and download them to your xbox. A youtube app to upload videos faster and easier then the normal way.

What I want to see is more controle over what a child can and can't download like me. I am 16 and my mother will let me download anything but Xbox was *** (no offence) and said sorry you need to be 18 even though my Legal ad Biological guardian said it was okay; so I wan't a option where a parent can say "my child may view & download all content on Xbox live" boy that would make a lot of kids who are allowd to download M rated contend but can't happy.

They have a powered down state if you're away from the screen for too long, then controller will turn off, and it puts the screen into a darkened mode. Personally, I'd hate to walk away from the console only to come back and it had shut off, esp. if you havent saved your progress in the past hour or so.

This last update, added support for wireless N.

I would like to see more options in downloads. The ability to prioritize downloads and sort them in order of want. Basically to be able to move things up and down the list.

The ability to download more than one item at a time. (Also useful for those times a game looks for updates and kills the current video or demo download that is running)

A file manager (think windows) for all downloaded and user content. It is so annoying to search through the existing menus etc..

The ability to use USB storage.

Better search and select functions in the downloads area. Like if there is a video series (multiple episodes) you can select an entire series to download instead of having to do each one separately. (Think DVR)

The ability to use our OWN USB wireless cards. Enough of patching out just so you can make a buck off of inferior hardware. Take care of your customers. We DO and WILL continue to give you money for other things you offer. No need to force this on us.

A paypal option for purchasing Points. (If one already exists, since I can't seem to find one. Make it more readily noticeable.)

if we already have an avatar. How bout an avatar HOME!!! then everybody can see your accomplishment in your house that you pick to show. I beleive it would be epic cause then they should let your party of 8 all come in the house and turn into an actual party it's just a thought i think I'm just thinking outside the box right now work with me here ppl lol

i would like to see the zune software on the 360 so you can do everything you do on the computer like download your music and sync them to your zune. I will have the 250gig hard drive on my 360 and my computer is getting crammed with all the music and movies. It would be nice to do all that from the xbox.

I highly agree with the avatar Home thing. In my opinion that we be a great feature to compete with the PSN Home.

Now I don't want to come off as pushy or anything, since in one of the last big updates they enabled you to remove games with 0GS, but I'd really like to see Gamerscore become something that can be altered a little more easily. To elaborate, I'd like to see the ability to remove games of any gamerscore from your Games Played list, but also detract from your overall score. Since I know there'd be a big fuss about accounts being hacked and games being mass deleted, perhaps instead of permanently deleting them, they could simply be stored away in a sort of Social folder if you want to pull them out to play again. TL;DR A way for you to choose which games make up your overall gamerscore and which ones do not.

A WIRELESS N adapter is coming out soon (probably double the price of the ond one though)

They need to update download history badly.

what about the update history should they update.

I just want to know if we can have last.fm playing in game like that fire fox addon fire.fm and can the xbox run directX 10 or 11? If it can you guys should crowbar that in some how. I would also like to see some way we can mod our games like user crated mods and maps for games from the commuinty.
