For ages on end, free themes would be released on the live marketplace, such as the holiday premium theme last year. I see the Halloween icon, click it, and it brings me to a plethora of seasonal content; SAW, L4D2 promos, game with themes, ect., and I see a "get the theme now" button! Instinctively, I press A twice, once to open the download box, and another to confirm, before the description text even pops on screen, and I get, to be honest, a really bad theme. It's crowded, there's an ugly skeleton thing gracing the front of it, and the backgrounds on my "friends" tab are very unimaginative. I'm never going to use this. Unfortunately, for some reason, they decided to charge money for this particular holiday theme. And not just small change, for 3-4x the price of a fun indy game, I got this terrible theme. We really need some sort of refund system on xbox live marketplace. Or a message that says "THIS COSTS MONEY", to differentiate free downloads from paid downloads, because right now, there's no difference, unless you look for the price. And this dropped my balance from above 4,000 to below 4,000 ms points, making me have to buy more if I want more than 1 $15ish purchase. :(
