How about you give some actual input to help the person asking the question instead of just being a douche?
To the OP: I'd highly suggest you get Rock Band 2. The setlist is varied and well balanced, the online modes are still going strong, and the song catalogue is HUGE in comparison to that of Band Hero (on RB2 you have 84 songs to start with, a code for a free 20-pack of songs, you can import 55 songs from the first Rock Band, and the DLC marketplace has 700+ songs to choose from if I'm not mistaken).
Band Hero allows for import of DLC content from GH World Tour, as well as an import of most songs from GH5, but Band Hero as a game itself is completely different than that of the main installments. The setlist has 65 songs, but almost all of those are pop/#1 hits. I suppose if you're into that genre of music you should pick up Band Hero as soon as possible.
Verdict: Look at the setlists, decide for yourself. If you have no plans to get DLC, base your choice on the on-disc songs, but if you are looking for a game that you'll be playing far down the road then the obvious choice is Rock Band 2.
