hello at my house i have two xbl accounts and i was just wondering if i downloaded the mythic map pack for halo would that work for both accounts thanks in advance

It will only work for the gamer profile that downloaded the map pack. So if you would like both gamertags to use that map pack ,then you need to purchase and download the map pack to each of your gamertags.

Should be ok as it unlocks to the console its downloaded on but only that one unless you do the DRM re-new.

DRM is a different thing.Althogh it something that has also to do with the downloaded content, but basically is about the license on the console that you used when you downloaded the map pack. You may only have limited/no access to that map pack if you're going to use the gamertag that didnt download the content.

i purchase all the fallout 3 add ons on my gamer tag, for some reason it allowed my gf to play them on her gamer tag, she finished the broken steel quests and is now a level 23, but then i recently exchanged that xbox for an elite and re-downloaded all the content, but now it wont let her play any add on missions, she can still load the game and play, but shes now stuck at lev 23 and gains no exp- kinda weird!

That is happening because the licenses for your Fallout 3 DLC (and any other DLC) is still registered to and stored on your old console.

This means that only your account can use DLC on your new Elite, and only when your account is connected to Xbox LIVE. Your girlfriend's account has no access to any of your DLC on the new console and that's probably why she isn't levelling up any-more in Fallout 3.

To solve this, run the License Transfer Tool to transfer your content licenses to the new console. After you run the tool, both accounts will have full access to your DLC.

I have used the license transfer tool but my sons account couldn't access the map packs.  I downloaded them again, but is still doesn't work for him.  What are my options?

what about on multiple hardrives? if I downloaded like say a map pack on one hardrive for account "A", would I have to pay again to download it to a different hardrive for account "A"?

You dont have to pay again if you're going to redownload contents purchased by the same Gamertag you're using to redownload. If your trying to download it with a different Gamertag then thats the time you'll gonna to pay for it again.
