really who cares!! facebook and twitter

all this facebook and twitter junk is useless....the one thing i`d really like to see for my aussie xbox account would be the inside xbox channel that the americans gets, which provides a few short vids each week with either news related to xbox, previews for upcoming games/interviews with developers, tips on getting acheivements and even vids not that realted to xbox but gaming in gerneral.......so why the hell don`t we have that channel???

Don't get yourself too worked up about it; if you don't like it, leave it. Simple.

And anyway, Halo: Waypoint will be included in the update; a new source of info on the Halo franchise, videos, updates about the latest Halo installments, a 'spotlight' on gamers and produces alike, and so on.

That's the update i'm looking forward to, and it comes out tonight! (5th of Nov)

Should be fantastic...for all the Halo fans anyway!

As much as you have a point buckwa, some people would use this (I myself cant wait for facebook, but thats me)
as for people getting worried that its going to clog up the dash, they are run as games / apps from the marketplace so unless you download them, you have nothing to worry about.

Personnally, I probably wont use the facebook and twitter features very much. But I still think its a great idea. It will help boost the community and interaction within that community.

Good on them for thinking about adding features for users. While some people dont think this is a good idea, they should just not use the features.
Chucky110: i never think of normal day to day stuff anyway, i just ignore it and do what i normally do which is whatever

Uh... Last.FM is only available to those in the US and UK. Us Aussies miss out (once again).

I would love to see the ability to be able to search youtube etc from the console direct not from a third party program that will eventually get you banned

I actually agree with you on this, similar conversation going on here --->> http://forums.xbox.com/29937353/ShowPost.aspx

Also, I agree that Australia didnt get much in the update but I enjoy Facebook & Twitter however their is no harm in them making the update optional, when they start adding more stuff to our consoles I will actually considering going to E3.
