Well I just cleared adventure mode today, finally, after a few years going back and forth with this game.  And I have every achievement but the 2,000,000 score achievement.  After finishing level 13-1 with 10 guys, I ended up with 1,500,000 points.

My questions is this: any tried and true strategies for getting points?  Looks like most of the posts have been deleted in this forum, so I can't find anything to help out.  All thoughts are welcome.

Thanks

And P.S. how the heck did the top guy on the leaderboards get 6,000,000?  Is that a bot or something?  Does he know something we don't?

Re: Points
Wow, congrats on your achievement. I don't know if I will ever finish this game and 2,000,000 seems like a lifetime away.

I remember seeing a post by someone who had completed the 2mill achievement with a breakdown of their score so you would know if you were on target. Sounds like you need to get plenty of ace times to earn the big bonus points but the breakdown was this.

Level

1 83,550
2 144,040
3 201,640
4 279,780
5 355,910
6 444,880
7 530,280
8 625,670
9 702,190
10 797,740
11 910,360
12 1,015,790
13 1,031,370

frogs 21 1,050,000

2,081,370
It seemed reliant on getting through to the end with lots of lives which seems to be the big variance in your effort.
21 lives vs your 10 equals the missing 500,000

Re: Points
Thanks very much for the response.  I recall getting about 900,000 points in the game, so saying that the other guy got 1,031,370 makes it at least achievable.  Now I just need to focus on losing fewer frogs.  Looks like that guy only lost 2!

Anyway, hang in there.  If you look at my achievements, I got sharpshooter exactly a year after clearing level 12, and then another 3 months after that before I finished adventure mode.  Taking extended breaks helps a lot.
