Well, I managed the speed run last night.  Fun!  There's actually a fair bit of leeway, as I broke 41 minutes and still made several large errors (and I think my Cascade strategy is wrong).

I think I was the 5th person to get 200.  People got it impressively quickly...

Now to collect all the secret stars so we can finally figure out what they heck they're for!

The stars actually fill in the constellation at the begginning of the game.

Yeah the speed run was not as bad as I thought it would be.

*signed*... Great game from start to finish

i tried the first speed run, got no where close, never tried again.  stuck at 185/200.  the game is not like mario bros. which lends itself more easily to speed running (mario not braid).  just never had the ambition to try it.  but now that i understand and appreciate gamerscore better, i wouldn't mind doing it.

Once you get to know the speedrun really well you realise that there are simpler solutions to the puzzles that you first thought! It's pretty cool.

Needless to say I was very frustrated when my first speedrun was slightly short of the challenge time (46:48), but I managed to shave five minutes off on my second run (41:36) and get my final achievement.

 (sorry in advance if people feel this doesn't relate to 200/200 club) I haven't gotten around to the full game speed run but I'm in the top 100 on the Leap of Faith, Phase & Jumpman Leaderboards (as of today I'm 19th on the Jumpman leaderboard)

Jumpman is such a great homage to the past & maybe a little bit of a jab too? It feels (to me anyway) like an elegant jab though, like poking fun while paying homage. Braid is a classy game through and through

actually once you get 7 stars, on level 1-1 {Briad) two levers become time immune which allows you to collect the eighth star and as well as the alternate ending to the game. good luck all.
