SW2 vs SW2E

What is the differences between the two games?  I been thinking of picking one of them up, but not sure which one  I would want.

Also, are they both 2 player?  I'd be primarily (if not only) playing it 2 player, as we had fun w/ DW5 Empires

What is the point of a signature?

sw2 has a story behind it, sw2:e you make the story, you choose the places to take over and the allies(Like dw5:e) it depends on if you want to play a set storyline or not or if possible just buy both :P and yes they are both co-op like dw5:e

Re: SW2 vs SW2E

what about Create a Warrior, do neither have it or both or what?  I haven't played a Koei game since the first Samurai Warriors on the PS2.  Also when you say you make your own story does that mean there are cut scenes that apply to your choices or what?  cutscenes is not that important given the low calibur of the voice work in the koei games but im just curious.

What about setting a storyline? Can you explain it more?

Re: SW2 vs SW2E
Empires felt a bit empty to me.  I tried it out but I'm going back to regular SW2.

Re: SW2 vs SW2E
Empires is alot like Samurai Warriors mixed with Risk...

I personally prefer Empires...primarily because it has a create a character unlike 2..(something i guess dynasty warriors 5: empires doesnt)

Re: SW2 vs SW2E
SW2 has more enemies on each map for you to kill and also more challenging, also has survival mode but that gets boring quickly. Bodyguards are also available. SW2E is quite repetative and quite easy at times since an army can only start a battle with 6 retainers and if you have a maxed officer with a nice weapon you will just destroy them. Hard is also not that difficult, but chaos mode is mentally difficult - sometimes 2 or 3 hits from an officer can kill you're maxed character.
