Personally surprised
For such a big game, a revival of a beloved series and such.........why does it seem no one has nor plays this?  Perhaps I'm just unlucky with my timing for trying multiplayer matchs, or finding anyone with it on other games, but it just leaves me amazed.  And saddened.

That being the case.......should it be excepted for this to be the same for Banjo-Threeie, or whatever they plan on calling the next game?  I really do hope not.....I've loved the series since I was young, and had thought others had too.
No, Luke. I killed Mufasa!

The biggest problem is that many of the people who played it (and many more who didn't) are blind fanboys of the old games who basically decided that "Rare ruined Banjo by not making this one a perfect carbon copy of the previous two" even before trying the new game. Their logic consists entirely of "Different = bad." They don't even give the game a chance to prove just how fun it really is in its own right. Not many people play the game now, not only because much of the old fanbase wrote it off as rubbish without trying it first, but Banjo and Kazooie aren't as recognizable to new players as someone like, say, Mario, so there aren't a lot of new customers coming to try it.

Re: Personally surprised

Hmm, funny you mention Mario.  I remember when they used to advertise the two together.....only with Fruit by the Foot back then, but meh, it was a good commercial.

Anyways, I had a feeling that might be the problem.  Ah well.....you never know.  The Banjo series is big with their features of bringing content from one game to another.  Maybe when Banjo-Threeie comes out, you can import the ability to use vehicles from N&B to there.  Hmm, that might be too much.....that's a pretty big feature to leave out, but you get the idea.

Maybe L.O.G. is only an NPC with an import.

This same thing is happening on the Splinter Cell Conviction forum. It's driving me insane how many ignorant fanboys won't support they're so called "beloved series" cuz the company's trying to expand the whole banjo kazooie concept. That's how the mario series did it, right? NOW look at them!

DUDE no kidding! I Played and loved every single Splinter cell game And yet it seems I'm isolated by being the only guy who likes "Change". For crying out loud, trying something new is always awesome! It worked for me with the Banjo Game
