ODST co-op night... I'm lost...
An answer to this will probably come to late, but ill give it a go for next time...

What the hell do i do to join... There is no info on xbox live, there is no info on my xbox. I got the game 2 days ago and it has 2 CD's. I joined with the ODST CD and there is no join game info in there anywhere... The second CD is the multi player CD. I can get online with it, but shows no active games...

Do i need some sort of invite code ? What CD should i be using ? How do i go about joining in this co-op night. Is it a case of needed my own friends ? Or can i just join into any game ?

Any help, at least for next time.

Oh, and thanks for all the n00b jokes in advance. Owned my xbox a month and this game 2 days. A little help would be nicer then the typical "seh! n00b!!! you sux0rz!" answers these forums typically get...

Thanks! :)

As a Halo fan, I also purchased the game Halo: ODST.

If you wish to do cooperative play on ODST (the first disk, otherwise known as campaign), then there is no option to 'search' or 'matchmake' with other players. You'll have to gather some friends and invite them to play the online cooperative play - Firefight.

And as for the second disk, that's just a disk with all the maps from Halo 3...plus a few, spruced up ones. That's simple - Just click matchmaking and it's basically straightforward from there. But as I was saying, with ODST, you have to have friends with ODST, in order to play cooperative play. I'd do it with you, but I've got all the firefight achievements anyway :p Not saying I don't play the game anymore; ODST is great!

Ok... I think i get it now... But what was the point of advertising a "Co-Op night" on xbox live if i needed to bring my own friends ??

I was mistaken then.. I thought it was a open night where you just logged in and took part in one of their hosted games. I dont see the point of advertising a co-op night if there isnt one being hosted. any night could be co-op night if i am setting it up myself...

Guess i need to find some ODST buddies and that way i can do it any night...

The "Co-op night" is just for advertised to join with other players. Maybe you could drop in at this link.

Cheers,
Matt
