i was wondering can anybody make a saleen do 269+ mine tops out at 254, but this kids keeps beating all my challenges with a saleen , and his speeds are 259,269 with a saleen.

no i dont wanna cheat , i wanna know if he is cheating cause i made a speed challenge for saleen only for 180,000 dollars and made the driving aid the regular one, so he couldn't have drafted off any one. and his score was 269, i was wondering did he cheat?

afraid cheating might be a matter of perspective on this one.
when it comes to speed challenges or anything in a straight line you're gonna get non stop dishonesty at the diners.

let's say yes he "cheated" he managed to glitch a friend in a ccr into the challenge and draughted him - what's to be done about it?
you could call atari - they wont care.
you could call microsoft - they wont care either.

you could hunt for the guy on the map so you could encounter him and bad rep him if you really just felt the need to take some small measure of retribution.

it all goes on - anything that can be done is done daily and has been since the games release in 2006.

but yeah there were glitches in the game that have since been patched. the online leaderboards for the alpha romeo race near waikiki for example is full of koenigseggs.
also at the diner it's possible from time to time to enter one challenge do a fair run and have your result posted on the board for someone else's as well for example i once had a lovely 10min course set up and someone doing a 30second straight line course had their time put on my results. they had no clue - wasn't their fault. just an error in the system - it happens...

could be , but i kinda doubt his was an error , i mean he beat every one's challenge in an hour.

well straight line races speed challenges and anything allowing offroading is gonna be full of crooks.
the honest courses with plenty of corners are the ones worthwhile.
but afraid you actually have to learn to drive well to be competative in some of those. especially if people like myself dutch tdu man or reclusive duck have been looking at them.

Noticed that. Thats why i have set a few small tracks recently but on 'loopy' roads. Should be fair and fun for all.
Set plenty of check points and this normally eradicates the 'short-cuts'.
Have found the challenges quite fun - when they appear to be fair !
In all honesty - not doing it for the money as you can earn all the cash you want quite quickly by doing challenges like the Alfa Romeo day etc..
Does make me chuckle rather than get angry when you see the same names with same vehicles winning various challenges. Obviously one big ego trip.

multiplayer races are the same - most of the time when driving with friends if i change to a specific car they will all change to the same car and we will have a fair race every time.
there's always one idiot that pics a faster car just to win - the same names picking a farboud when everyone else is in a gallardo.
or an s7 when everyone else is in an me four twelve.

then there's NEVER STOPS 007 who has actually gone on a tirade in text messages on how i cheated to beat him.
the poor fella quits everytime he falls behind - on this particular occasion i drove a ccr at "precious time" and was beating his enzo when the abuse started.
"using a glitch car to win rank matches you got no class"
"you are a cheater nuff said"
"hey look look way up and i will i will see never stops 20176270 whahaaahaaaaahaaaaaahaaaaaaaahaaaa"
and so on...
funny thing is anyone that knows the game can tell you a ccr actually goes slower if it's glitched.
i ended up blocking him - who needs the hassle...

It doesn't matter how you do it. Glitching cars is something people do in the game when they don't appreciate the game enough to play it properly. It's disgraceful.
