I don't know about you guys, but after seeing the new trailer http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-09-alan-wake/54452 I am looking forward to this baby! It gonna be epic! Can't wait for this one, I had no idea it was a sorta Sci-Fi horror game. The Light and dark elements of the game will really add some dynamics to it!

Agreed with everything except for the Sci-Fi part. Not sure what's sci-fi about the game....
But the game definitely looks scary.

he means because it has some sort of supernatural element to it. technically anything like that can fall under the category of sci-fi.

It really does look awesome, although I want to try a demo first to be sure the gameplay is smooth. If using the flashlight a lot hinders the gunplay, it may be a bit too sluggish for my tastes. I didn't care for Resident Evil 5 because of how slow the controls felt, but I am optimistic about Alan Wake!

I really think it is awesome bicouse finally Finland is doing something big!
Well there been Max Payne, Trials HD but this is different ( =) )
and i've been heard that alan wake have voted to best game of the year!

No it can't. I don't know where you heard that but supernatural and paranormal are not the same as science fiction.

It looks a lot like Silent Hill style gameplay.

Isn't this game supposed to be a supernatural GTA? Like, you can free-roam, hold a whole bunch of weapons "in your jacket", get vehicles (I heard this somewhere, not sure if it's true), but the enemies aren't human...?

i hope it comes out good, wat with uncharted2 out, we need a game focused on story

if the gameplay from alan wake is like that then they just copied alone in the dark's gameplay :P

The only difference is that Alan Wake was put into production way before Alone in the Dark was released :P

yes but alone in the dark had the gameplay designs first

im sure alan wake went through many design changes and gameplay changes (then they saw alone in the dark and copied it)

Awesome is definitly the correct word for this game, I don't know about you guys but I must have watched that Police escape game play trailer about 50 times, it's absolutely jaw dropping IMO.
