Advice for getting Custom Challenge Victories achievement
Hi,

I'm having a heck of a time trying to get the Custom Challenge Victories achievement (Take 2 victories in the custom challenges of the Drive-Ins).  I've tried to do what some achievements guide have stated (set entrance fee to $1000, reward to $0, race, share it and wait for no one to race so you get victory) but people still race my challenge and beat me.  I've tried to race other's challenges (mainly speed challenges) and someone will beat my time at the last minute.

Are there any hints or tips you can give me on how to set up a challenge that no one will race?
Or, how to beat other's challenges?

I drive with the driving aids on and use an auto transmission.  Should I switch to manual?

Thanks

Well, I'd say that if you put a challenge up, people will naturally race it (especially if you tell them not to), and rightfully so - I mean, the challenges are there to be raced.  I wasn't aware that you can get the achievement that way.  I just went out there, slugged it out and earned it, which is what I thought you had to do.

I sorted the list of challenges by time remaining and then looked for speed challenges that were expiring quickly (like, a couple of hours at the very most) and did a bunch of them.  As long as one of the cheaters or faster guys didn't come behind me at the very last second and beat my score, I was good to go.

yes switch to manual - most drivers are more likely to go quicker with manual gears.
