Simply put, what's your favourite faction and why. Go ahead and talk about anything from playstyle, to appearance, to history, let's get some discussion going. My favourite faction is the GDI Steel Talons because the army is made up of the most distingushed veterans of the Second Tiberian War, and since Tiberian Sun was the first C&C I played, the Talons hold a strong nostalgia value for me. TS really showed you what GDI and Nod were really about, and I decided to side with the good guys.

Commander's Challenge is the only XBL Arcade game worth getting.

My Favorite Faction is Marked of Kane, because i love cyborgs man.. also when i played the Kane's Wrath campaign jn the mission where you unlock the awakened & enlightened they caught my attention, also i think that MoK play with style .. i like every unit that MoK posses from the engineer (that runs like hell ) to the reedemer my favorite unit is the Enlightened and the steath tank

Yeah, the MoK are a pretty cool faction. I love the Enlightened too, cuz they're almost like the absolutely bada$$ Cyborg Commando from Tiberian Sun. The MoK is my favourite Nod faction, a mix great of heavy hitters and sneaky harrassers. Soulless Cyborg Armies FTW!

for me its gotta be the steel talons and the black hand.

steel talons cos they have cool walkers that remind me of warhammers,starship troopers and alien.

the black hand cos they have this sort of zealos thing with the flamers thatt are just badass

I knew people would say steel talons.. gotta admit that walkers look bad a$$ especially titan crushing other tanks . and i also agree with Black Hand with the black disciplines their infantry gets plenty strong

ye  i agree with you there the walkers are pretty badass.

I don't know. i am torn between basic GDI and Black Hand. Black Hand because..........well come on its the black hand. they are complete men. but GDI is incredibly versitile and real strong at the same time. i actually starting playing C&C with tiberium wars. i dont go that far back. but i have taken quite a liking to GDI.

Actually im becoming quite partial to Marked of Kane now. I love how much finesse is required to use them.

I got Commander's Challenge, an arcade version with 50 storyless missions against A.I. It's got amazing value for $10 (i got it free tho =P) but it has ridiculous difficulty. You only can build on 2 Ore fields that you can actually defend, $10,000 to start, and a MCV. The bare bones minimum. And you have to unlock the good units one by one by winning missions.
While the AI gets 3 pre built bases to start, infinite money, GODLY micro (turning mecha tengus into jet tengus while buiding more out of 3 war factories while crushing me with Harvesters while activating his Archer maidens special ability while you fight the endless circle menus just to build a Tankbuster.

Yeah.
 Basically, its one of those games where the computer basically decides if it wants to win or not.
But it's soooooooo satisfying when you win a mission. I'm planing on getting RA3 anyway, I really like the atmosphere better than tiberium universe it kind of fits my personality more.

My fave would have to be the Nod with the militia. That armor is sooooo cool. =) Infantry spam FTW! I know that doesn't exactly help me win a game but hell, it's so fun. =)
