Hello, I have never played this game or any game from the series, and my friend keeps telling me to buy it, and it is $19.00 but I want to ask you guys to before I buy it. So, does the game have
Good replay mode?
Good campaing?
Good controlls?
Also, how is the battle on it? I watched my friend play it, and it looked like it was inasin. Any answers are appreciated

Yes this game is good.  Not too many glitches and most players are fairly sound.  You do run across the occasional ip flooder but they're so sad they just make me laugh.  All in all it's well worth the 19 quid.

Mmmm let see ... I was playing a game recently on sertao ... I was nod the other guy was black hand ... no airforce :) .... He kept building up large numbers of troops and trying to get em across the bridges but I kept the bridges nicely wrecked and mopped up anything he did get across .... eventually in frustration he just ip flooded me ... killed my net connection .... I thought it was a good game anyway :)

Couldn't he have just built some Spectres with Mantises, rather than having to got to such lengths to "win"?

Not quite.  Flooding is the equivalent of getting everyone in the town next to you to ring you all at the same time.  You can't call out and whatever call you were on gets dropped as well.  What annoys me about it is that it kills my net connection totally so not only do I lose connection on my xbox, anyone else here in the house using the net gets cut off as well.  It doesn't last very long but it's enough.

If you had played it, you'd know what extraordinary lenghts people would go to just to win. Mod chips + standby glitching sux. However, I've never encountered this IP flooder exploit. The worst I've faced is the teleporting engineer and the unkillable riflemen glitches.

Ah yeah this damned flooding is common enough .... the game is going swimmingly ... then bam ... xbox locks up ... game crashes .... 'you have lost' .... flashes up on screen and my internet connection crashes ... in some cases I have to restart my router ... all because some idiot runs their connection through a pc and then runs their xbox from that.  Of course they have some ip tracking software monitoring everything and when the game isn't going their way they push a button and flood my ip address which of course fools the system into thinking I've quit.

I'm building up quite a list of players that I simply won't play anymore.  I report them and avoid them.

lol ... no ... I don't have a wee notebook of players I won't play.  If I do come across someone who glitches/cheats whatever I'll avoid them like the plague.  I'm not going to compile lists of names to be published; life's too short for that.

I played some games online friday and noticed some wierd freezing at the start of a few. I could move my camera, select my conyard and open up menus, but I could not start building. You know how your MCV lights up for a second when you select it? Well, mine would freeze right there and stay highlighted. I couldn't even quit normally, I had to dashboard.

thats because the other player hasnt load the game yet. when he finished loading and you went to the dashboard you gave him a free win :p

I know it'll lag a but when the game starts, but I was frozen for over a minute. Never encountered that before. Another guy got a free win that day when my batteries died, and I had no spares.

I got halo wars from there, at first only the campaign was messed up but then the scratches spread to the rest of the disc to the point where I can't even load the game. Anonymity+money=not good
